March 23, 2004--The Travel Professionals of Color 2nd annual national conference being held in Denver, Colorado will focus on education, training and networking for minority travel agency owners, managers, home based agents and independent contractors.
There will be a strong focus on how to market to the minority traveling community so that minority travel agents can profit from the $90 billion being spent on travel annually by minorities, especially the African Americans and Hispanic communmities, who are spending the greatest amount of money on travel within the minority groups according to a report recently submitted by the TIA.
