August 12, 2004 -- Nonrevcentral.com is a website created for airline employees and their families to exchange information about non-revenue or "space available" travel.
Doug and Kristie Taylor created the website as a medium for which employees of all airlines are able to swap information and experiences about using pass benefits.
"Normally," they explain, "most of the information about space available travel is held behind corporate intranets and not accessible to family and employees of other airlines. Obtaining information about destinations, tips and travel ideas means that you've got to spend hours searching intranets and pestering co-workers for information".
Nonrevcentral is poised to be "One-Stop Shopping" for travel industry employees and their families. The broad range of features includes forums, travel news, an online store, hotel/air/car reservations and a growing list of other features.
"We welcome employees and families of all airlines to come join the community at Nonrevcentral.com. Registration is absolutely free of charge."
