November 10th 2002 -- TIEDGLOBAL.com, a travel industry employees only online discounts directory will be first introduced at the WTM exhibition at Excel, London 11-14 November, 2002.
The website is a travel services discounts portal for travel industry employees only.
The company and website were built by the CEO David Granek, a travel agent, travel agency manager and tour operator for over 20 years.
The main purpose of the site is to provide easily searchable travel services directory, on which travel services vendors from around the world will offer special discounts, as acceptable, to travel industry employees. The main benefit for the vendors offering the discounts is the ability to introduce their services to the travel professionals â€â€Å" the people that will drive more business for the vendors.
The benefit for the travel industry employees is obvious â€â€Å" they get big discounts on a cutting edge website on which they can search their desired services by geographical location and service type.
Of course the vendors are a part of the industry themselves, and the result is that TIEDGLOBAL.com is a meeting place for travel professionals from around the world. In the near future it is planned to provide other services to travel professionals like online reservations, online industry information, business related tools and more.
TIEDGLOBAL’s marketing model consists of regional General Sales Agents, that will receive commissions on every vendor they will register to the directory.
At the World Travel Market exhibition at Excel, London, TIEDGLOBAL.com will hold a stand at the Americas section NA5506. The introduction will be mainly to vendors and GSA’s.
